The KAR Auction Services group of companies provides sellers and buyers across the global, wholesale, used vehicle industry with innovative, technology-driven remarketing solutions. Equipped with many outdated systems that couldn’t handle the workload, KAR needed business critical integrations as soon as humanly possible.

How can one of the world’s largest used vehicle auction companies roll out a company-wide Salesforce integration successfully to over 17,000 employees?

In one of the company’s largest and most challenging projects to date, VIVITAL teams re-crafted the standard and custom solutions of multiple inter-dependent business units that consume significant systems of record and middleware technologies.

 

The VIVITAL Difference

This was no easy feat and the results speak for themselves. Our CRM Feed project consolidated seven technologies into three, recovering over 14% daily data loss and increasing data error visibility. By integrating Salesforce Bridge, we replaced a 10-year-old Java application, recovered 20% daily data loss and reduced the overall codebase size by more than 60%. Lastly, a decoupling project eliminated the slow and co-dependent systems development life cycle (SDLC) between two businesses, decreasing Salesforce solutions time to market by 70%.
